It is the aim of the project to
raise awareness in the organisations, institutions and professional groups that come into contact with (potentially) affected persons by trafficking for labour exploitation.

They should be in a position to:

·          help affected persons to find a way out of the trafficking situation

·          assist affected persons in claiming their human and labour rights

·          improve the prosecution of the offence of  trafficking for labour exploitation

·          develop a cooperative approach to these three lines of action together with a list of actors needed to establish this approach.

The target groups of the project are actors advising on migration, labour and health; migrant self-organisations; trade unions, police and other state and federal authorities.

Berlin
Model

The purpose of the project is to provide a comprehensive approach to combating human trafficking for labour exploitation in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.

Possible solutions and courses of actions which are developed should function as models for the combat of human trafficking for labour exploitation in Germany.
